AN ICON OF SWISS DESIGN
The MONDAINE SBB collection brings the original design of the Official Swiss Railways Station Clock to the wrist. Created by Swiss engineer Hans Hilfiker in 1944, its clean black markers, highly legible hands and iconic red second hand have made it one of Switzerland’s most recognisable design icons.
In 1986, MONDAINE transformed this unmistakable clock design into a wristwatch, staying true to the original drawings and to the principles that define it: clarity, functionality and simplicity.

A CONTEMPORARY EXPRESSION
Doppio introduces a new chapter in our design story. Its name, meaning “double” in Italian, reflects repetition as a defining design principle, expressed through double-line hands and indexes.
A concave dial and double-domed sapphire crystal add depth and dimension, while the clean composition remains unmistakably MONDAINE. The result is a contemporary collection that builds on our design heritage while establishing a character of its own.
